Brief history

PlaNet S.r.l. Sistemi Informatici was set up in 1997 by the two current partners, Bruno Ferraro and Paolo Pancani. They pool their experience in the IT field, with an emphasis on Internet services, software development and database design.
The idea is to provide a structure capable of supplying clients with authoritative, reliable partners who can help with all the issues connected with the setting up of in-company IT systems and the use of new technology in a work environment.

Maurizio Calogiuri joined the company in 2000, bringing with him his expertise in the field of data systems and networking, thereby guaranteeing the company direct control over every stage in the development of web-based projects.
From then on, thanks to their technical know-how, the partners have been able to guarantee complete control in the management of products throughout their life-cycle, from the design phase to its implementation, on desktop and server platforms, with a particular attention for LAMP architecture (Linux – Apache – MySQL – PHP) as the network infrastructure for the applications developed.
